Great hornbills can be seen in 19 institutions in Europe. In past 10 years, only several zoos managed to breed them, for example in Stuttgart Zoo or in Walsrode Zoo. Breeding of young in Zlín Zoo is therefore great success, especially when it is the only bred young in past 12 months all over the world.
