On 29th September, 2016, first insemination of female of African elephant in the Czech Republic took place. Behind preparation and successful realisation of the project was two-year long demanding work of Zlín’s zookeepers and close cooperation with important specialized institution in the Netherlands, Germany, and France. On 1st July 2018, unfortunately, female Zola gave birth to a dead young.
