Zlin Zoo has been involved in rescue project of griffon vultures since 2009. In that year, first bred young went to Bulgaria. But year 2017 was special. We handed over 4 young to our colleagues from the organisation Green Balkan. Until 2020, in total 15 griffon vultures, 2 Egyptian vultures and one cinereous vulture were handed over.
